Hair

I get so many comments from people about how amazed they are at the amount of hair Phoebe has when they see her in person. Now, to be fair -- Phoebe really didn't start growing hair until last fall, and stayed very fuzzy for a very long time. But just like her mommy and daddy, she has very blond hair right now...and most of it is in the back.

I can, if I'm feeling adventurous, get a teeny tiny bow into her hair in the front. Unfortunately, they're very easy to lose and it's just not worth it to me to risk it yet! In the back, however... I can almost make pigtails! Just like her daddy when he was little, Phoebe has a mass of sweet, tangled curls at the back of her neck. Some may even consider her look a mullet? I think not!

In other news, we're all starting to feel better. Phoebe's appetite is back, and she's been fever-free for 24 hours. I woke up today feeling a good bit better, too; can I just say that Mucinex D is a miracle drug? (And it's safe for expectant Mommies!) It's wonderful not to feel like I need to just lay on the couch all day!

I just want you to know how strange this is....the picture of Phoebe....I thought it was a picture of Lorelai from behind at first. I was like "how did she get that and why is it on her page?"

I love little blonde curls!

She does have a lot more hair that it looks like in the other photos. Good to know about the Mucinex being safe for expectant mommies. Glad to hear you are feeling better. Being pregnant, sick and trying to take care of a sick toddler is no fun!
