I just realized that I left everyone hanging with the results of my diabetes test...
...it was NEGATIVE!
I celebrated by enjoying a plethora of carbohydrate-ridden foods throughout the weekend, a treat I thought I would for sure have to forgo until after Miss Nora made her debut. What a blessing from above!
I could absolutely tell that the whole "test process" was prayed up. My specific prayers -- that it would be over in two hours instead of three, and that I would experience limited nausea and hunger pains -- were specifically answered. My fasting number and my first two hours were all clear "pass" numbers, without being borderline. I also experienced very little nausea, and the hunger didn't hit until I passed an Arby's drive-thru on the way home (I resisted the temptation). Praise the Lord!
It was a very busy, fun-filled weekend... and now I'm paying the price with a busy week! Translation? I have no time to be sitting here updating this! But I did want to thank you for praying for my test!

OK, so I'm not very good at this, but that is supposed to be a virtual cupcake in celebration :)
oh, man! It deleted all my spacing. I swear the cupcake was much cooler when I typed it.
YEAH! I'm so glad it was negative and you weren't really sick.
Glad to hear that your test results came back negative. That Glucola stuff is yucky! I agree with you that this age is the most fun so far. I wish I had some great tips on eating with a fork for Phoebe. Caleb kept wanting our silverware at dinner so finally we let him try it and he just figured it out. Then I bought him a smaller kid size fork that is easier for him to handle. Sometimes he gets frustrated and just goes back to eating with his fingers but I think we are making progress. I say just let Phoebe give it a try and see how she does.
